Stella Marina in the News!!
October 2019 Shipment Completed
The Stella Marina Team Got together in Mid October and packed up the truck with supplies that will be delivered Haiti. Dr. Maklin send a message and let us know that the shipment arrived safely and was transported to the hospital in Cap Haitien. Our third shipping container – another 40 footer – was filled and sent on Wednesday, November 11, 2019. Despite pouring rain and uncertainty of our truck actually arriving, we were able to finally fill our truck – in the dark. Using headlamps, our awesome volunteers got the truck filled with birthing kits, newborn kits, medical equipment and supplies, school supplies, and school furniture in less than two hours! Fr. Vaccaro “blessed our mess” that filled the halls of CubeSmart prior to filling the truck. We are so thankful for all the help we received from our volunteers, Food for the Poor, CubeSmart, and Interstate Van Lines. Our next shipping container will be sent in the Fall of 2021.
